Spooky season is here, and that means GMs are scrambling for a themed session idea for their group. “The Ghost of Mistmoor” by Leonard Wilson is a classic horror-themed dungeon almost universally lauded as one of the best adventures from Dungeon Magazine.
Something about the camp of this adventure resonates with me, so it’s been the first one I turn to. Personally, I think it would be a great adventure to adjust for Shadowdark, where the torch mechanics would really add to the drama of the horror. But, part of the problem of updating these old Dungeon adventures is getting a decent-quality map to run at the table or on your VTT, and that’s where I can come in.
